Dublin Ranch- Interest Rates Drop in 2015

Home inventory 40% Lower in Dublin Ranch than January

interest  Interest Rates Drop   Dublin Ranch NewsMortgage Interest rates fell for the third week in a row and are still trending downward. According to the mortgage giant Freddie Mac, lenders were offering 30 year fixed mortgages at 3.66% compared to 4.41% in January 2014. This is the lowest rate we seen since May 2013.  Applications for home loans have surged and the surge could continue.

This decline has defied the forecast of increased mortgage rates for 2015. Analysts are predicting the rates will stay low for most of the year. Due to the continuing weakness in global economies, investors have invested more money into US Treasury securities and government backed bonds, putting downward pressure on mortgage interest rates.

In Dublin Ranch inventory is very low, 40% lower than January 2014. Days on the market is falling as well. If these trends continue coupled with low interest rates, we should see an increase in sales prices.
